After arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be greeted by RAD Global official team member and transfer to the hotel for good rest and recovery. In the evening, you will meet your expedition leader for an expedition briefing on the journey including a review of logistics, safety protocols and climbing gear.
Spend the day finalizing permits such as the Sagarmatha National Park entry permit and climbing permits required for Mount Everest Climbing issued by the Nepal Government.
On this day, trek will officially start with a thrilling 30minute domestic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, a small mountain town with one of the world’s most challenging runways. Begin your trek with a gentle 3-4 hour walk to Phakding, following the Dudh Koshi River. The trail is adorned with prayer wheels and fluttering Buddhist prayer flags.
Trek to Namche Bazaar, a bustling Sherpa town and the gateway to Mount Everest. The trail involves crossing several suspension bridges, including the iconic Hillary Suspension Bridge.
On the 5th day, early morning hike to the Everest View Hotel for stunning panoramas of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. Explore Namche’s vibrant market and visit the Sherpa Culture Museum.
Trek through rhododendron forests and pass small villages to reach Tengboche, the famous Tengboche Monastery. The views of Everest and Ama Dablam are breathtaking.
On the 8th day of trek, after having breakfast and lunch we will trek to Dingboche, a quaint village surrounded by towering peaks and terraced fields. The altitude becomes noticeable and slower trekking is advised.
Trek to Lobuche (4,940 m), passing by the Thukla Pass and the Everest Memorial, which honors climbers who lost their lives.
Trek from Lobuche to Everest Base Camp (5,364m).
The climbing phase involves rotations between Everest Base Camp and higher camps to acclimatize and prepare for the summit push.
The summit attempt begins around midnight from Camp IV. Climbers aim to reach the peak within 10-12 hours. The route passes through challenging sections like the Hillary Step and the South Summit. Upon reaching the top, climbers spend a brief time celebrating before descending.
After the summit you will be descending to Base Camp or lower camps with full of joy and lots of memories with you.
On this day, we will clean up Base Camp for the cleanliness and better environment.
Trek back to Namche Bazaar.
Fly back to Kathmandu from Lukla. Spend your final days relaxing, exploring local markets, or attending a farewell dinner with your team.
Leisure Day at Kathmandu.
Prepare for your departure from Kathmandu, Nepal. Transfer to the airport by RAD Global representative for your flight to home.
