We travel from Kathmandu for three hours to arrive at Nuwakot which is an ancient Newari town that has significant historical significance. It is known for the Nuwakot palace, which was the residence of previous King of Nuwakot. It is a must to visit the historic Nuwakot Durbar, which is located on the highest point of the hill. This palace has lush greenery and high mountains , with prominent snow-capped mountains. If you've never explored the streets in Kathmandu or Durbar squares, Nuwakot can provide a taste of the old Newari tradition and architectural style. We stay at the accommodation in Nuwakot.
We travel between Nuwakot to Syabrubesi in a minibus. Syabrubesi is the starting point for any trek within the Langtang region. It is a gorgeous Tamang village situated at the beginning into Syabrubesi, which is located in the Langtang region. We spend the night in the lodge in Syabrubesi.
We hike from Syabrubesi taking the trail in the forest of bamboo. The forest will end when we traverse over the Langtang Khola over a suspension bridge. The forest is more sparse on the other side of river. A long climb up Rimche (2510m) can be considered the last hike up the mountain. A gradual descent leads our towards Lama Hotel where we stay over the night in the lodge.
Trek from Lama hotel to Mundu (3541m; 5 hrs, 30 min)
The trek continues from the Lama Hotel with a gradual uphill , but it gets more steep as we enter the stunning forests of maple, oak and rhododendrons, as well as stunning waterfalls. You can see the Himalayan mountains and mountains with peaks including Langtang II as well as the Langtang Ri. We ascend through the forest to the valley's width and tiny settlements of herders that lead to Mundu. Then we rest in a lodge or teahouse located in Mundu.

From there, we hike into Thulo Syabru village, a vast village that is inhabited with Tamang people. The night we stay at the lodge located within the town.
We hike from Thulo Syabru to the north for a time and then find a checkpoint with the Chorten. From here, we travel south to Garta village, and then go past the Phulung monastery. Then we trek on to arrive at Sin Gompa. We spend the night in the lodge near Sin Gompa.
The trek between Sin Gompa to Gosaikunda is an incredible route that offers stunning views of the snow-capped mountains and mountains while we hike through the ridge for majority throughout the entire day. We also ascend a tiny pass that offers a stunning panorama of Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, and Manaslu, as well as Annapurna mountains. One out of nine lakes at Gosaikunda from the trail. We walk on mountains ridges in the forest before descending towards Magen Goth. The trail climbs gradually from here to the rhododendron woodland with the shepherd's huts that remain until Kutumsangu. We spend the night in an lodge.
The route that runs from Kutumsange to Chisopani is dotted with more houses, stone streets and shops, but the panorama of Chisopani's Himalayan range remains stunning from the villages. It is a good idea to stop in Chipling (2170m) the hill, where you can relax for a bit and continue down the trail towards Pati Bhanjyang and then a final climb up to Chisapani where you stay the night in the lodge.
As we climb the hilly terrain traversing through forests, former army camps and Tamang villages on our way to and from Chisapani. We pass through the final pass, Borlang Bhanjyang at an elevation of 2430m. We continue on to traverse through the Shivapuri National Park until we arrive at Sundarijal the beautiful water paradise. Then we drive back to Kathmandu and then rest in the hotel.
