Everest Region is the Home of Sherpa People with stories that are more impressive than Mountains and larger than Glaciers. The trek to Everest gives you a chance to explore the long-running history and the rich history of Sherpa Culture, their tale of mountains, stunning landscapes, and inspiration for your whole life. One of the most prestigious homes for Everest summiters, Khumjung village, with Mt. Khumbila in the background. It is the Monastery that is believed to have Yeti Scalp. Tengboche Monastery, a major Buddhist Center in Everest Region is among the most renowned Monasteries in Nepal with a Residing Guru Rinpoche, who is blessed by mountaineers and trekkers. If you travel from Gorakshep, Everest Base Camp is three hours further, and Kalapatthar is one and a half hours.

Everest Base Camp Treks, High Passes Treks, Gokyo Lakes Trek Amadablam Base Camp Treks, Everest View Trek and Classical routes like Jiri and Phaplu to Everest Base Camp as well as Phaplu towards Everest Base Camp comprise the main trekking trails. Between Jiri and Phaplu the trails are less crowded and each step is worth it.
