Booking Policy

Your travel starts once you book with us. We have outlined our booking policies to ensure our dealings with our customers remain hassle-free. We also understand that a lack of trust can be detrimental to our business.

At Rad Global Adventure, we take great care to ensure our clients understand our policies and payment procedures while travelling with us. We urge clients to take some time and read our policies thoroughly to avoid confusion once a trip is booked.

How to Book

  • Booking can be made on our platform, through our email, or by calling our customer service.
  • Personal and travel information is necessary to complete the booking form. Please ensure that your name, as per your passport, is indicated.
  • An email with payment instructions and confirmation will be sent following receipt of the booking.

Deposit Requirements

  • Once a booking is made, a confirmation email is sent with instructions for payment. This payment is preferably a deposit in the range of 20 to 30 percent of the total trip cost.
  • We prefer a higher deposit for climbing and expedition trips as the cost for permits and logistics is higher.
  • Early notification to us will ensure that your deposit will be transferred to a different trip if you book another trip that is close to your previous date of travel.

Final Payment

  • The remaining balance is payable before the trip starts, which is usually between 15 to 30 days before departure unless agreed otherwise.
  • In case the balance amount is not received on time, your booking will automatically be cancelled, so it’ll be considered as a cancellation done by you.

Payment Options

We accept: 

  • Payments via bank transfer
  • Payments via credit and debit cards (some charges may apply)
  • Payments via other safe, online payment gateways

All clients are required to make payment in the currency specified (default is US dollars). Any wire charges are the responsibility of the client.

Cancellations by Client

We appreciate that plans can change. If you wish to cancel:

  • 60 days or more before departure – Refund of the payment minus the deposit paid and the cost of other associated non-recoverable expenses (e.g., permits).
  • 30 – 59 days before departure – 50% of the trip cost is reimbursed.
  • Less than 30 days before departure – No reimbursement will be given.

Please note: During the trip, the services that you do not consume (hotel accommodation, meals, and transport) are non-refundable.

Cancellations by Rad Global Adventure

  • There are rare occasions that, for whatever reason, we may have to cancel the trip (e.g., natural calamities, political situations, too few people, or safety reasons).
  • In these situations, you have the option of either full reimbursement or the ability to move the payment toward another trip/date.
  • Please note, these options do not cover the expenses of international flights, visas, or travel insurance that are not included in our services.

Modifications to Your Booking

  • If you wish to make modifications to your trip (for example, change the date, upgrade the accommodation, or add services), please do so as early as you can.
  • We will put in every effort to accommodate changes; however, extra charges may apply depending on availability.

Travel Insurance

  • Every traveler is required to have a comprehensive travel insurance policy. This policy must cover medical emergencies, delays and cancellations, accidents, evacuation (especially helicopter extraction for high altitude treks), and personal property.
  • Doing a foreign visit without travel insurance is prohibited.
  • Proof of the insurance policy is required before heading on the trip.

Health and Fitness

  • Our trips usually include trekking and climbing, and other related outdoor activities.
  • You should have a reasonable level of health and fitness to be able to enjoy the trips.
  • If you have pre-existing medical conditions, speak to your physician before making a booking.
  • We do retain the right to refuse participation if your health and safety may be compromised.

Passports, Visa, and other Permits

  • You must come with a valid passport (having a minimum of 6 months’ validity) and a visa to enter Nepal, which is your responsibility.
  • For trekking and expeditions, any associated permits (like TIMS and conservation area fees, and restricted area permits) will be obtained through us.

Itinerary Changes/Adjustments

  • Adventure travel is susceptible to unpredictable conditions such as the weather, the state of the roads, or political situations.
  • For safety and common sense, we may vary the itinerary.
  • Such changes will be made without compensation. Our responsibility will be to find and propose reasonable alternatives.

Group Bookings

  • For group tours, a booking becomes valid once the group leader submits the information and pays a deposit on behalf of the group.
  • Any individual cancellations within the group will follow the cancellation policy above.

Responsibility and Liability

  • Rad Global Adventure takes great pride in ensuring every service is delivered with utmost care and respect.
  • However, we cannot be held liable for any injuries, illnesses, delays, losses, and damages due to factors that are beyond our control (these include, but are not limited to, weather, strikes, and natural calamities).
  • Adventure travel is full of exciting as well as dangerous experiences, and by booking with us, you embrace these experiences.

Complaints

During the trip, if you feel that you are facing any challenges, please report to the guide or our office. We will do our utmost to find a suitable solution promptly. Complaints are always more challenging to solve when made after returning to the home.

Governing Law

This booking policy and any resulting disputes or claims will be subject to the laws of Nepal.
